Guitar lessons in DerbyWe specialise in lessons for the classical and acoustic guitar and can cater for people of all ages.  Adults and children are equally welcome at the CGA.  We also cater for all ability levels, from complete beginner to advanced.  As long as you’ve got a guitar, we can teach you.

If you’re interested in passing a graded exam, we can certainly help.  Students at the CGA have a 100% pass rate. Many achieve either Merit and Distinction.  Alternatively, you can learn for fun at your own pace.  Whatever your aspirations are, we’re here to help you make them a reality.

We teach on weekday evenings from 4-9pm. Lessons outside this time can be arranged and home visits are available on request.

Ed Peczek - Guitar Teacher Derby

Our guitar teacher Ed Peczek is a professional tutor with over 10 years teaching experience. He graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2009 with a BMus (Hons) degree in Classical Guitar studies. He has taught hundreds of students.  Some of whom have gone on to study at music conservatoire.  Others have started their own careers in the music industry.

Ed is a member of the European Guitar Teachers Association and the Registry of Guitar Tutors. These organisations keep him up to date with the latest teaching practices.
