Ed Peczek

Ed Peczek is the principal guitar teacher and founder of The Classical Guitar Academy.
Ed is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He graduated in 2009 with a BMus(Hons) degree in classical guitar studies.
He has been teaching for over 10 years and has taught hundreds of people to play the guitar. His students have a 100% pass rate and many have gone on to study the guitar at university/conservatoire level and launch their own careers in the music industry.

Ed began playing the classical guitar in 1995 under the guidance of Adrian and Selina Copley of the Stafford Classical Guitar Centre.

He started performing at an early age and won several competitions, including Staffordshire Young Musician of the Year in 2005.

Shortly after graduating from the RCS, he set up an independent guitar school in Glasgow, which quickly became one of the busiest guitar schools in the area.

Ed currently holds guitar teaching posts at Repton School and Denstone College.

In addition to teaching at the Classical Guitar Academy, Ed Peczek also performs regularly as a classical guitarist around the UK.  He is available to hire for concerts, weddings and restaurants, as well as other private and corporate events.  Visit his website to find out more.

Ed is a member of the European Guitar Teachers Association and the Registry of Guitar Tutors.
