About Oren Myers
Oren Myers is a guitar maker with great pedigree, having learned from the some of the best luthiers in the game. This includes renowned English luthier Christopher Dean and the world famous José Romanillos; both guitar makers command huge respect in the classical guitar world.
Oren possesses those most crucial traits synonymous with the very best in the business; a genuine passion for the classical guitar coupled with an approach that is, in his own words, a “never-ending process of development”.
His initial training in classical guitar came in the form of guitar lessons. These played the foundation for the quality of tone top level players expect their guitar to be able to produce, and focused his mind on the most coveted sonic qualities of a good guitar; strong, beautiful and expressive.
His dedication to replicating these great qualities in his own construction is certainly paying off, drawing high praise from some of the UK’s most respected guitarists:

The Guitars
Oren Myers takes inspiration from the greatest traditional guitar makers, basing his designs on the kite shaped strutting of Torres and Hauser, as well as José Romanillos. His instruments are lightly built, channeling the warm, sweet and intimate qualities of the guitar sound we all know and love. Through experimentation and the type of knowledge only possible through top level training and experience, Oren is able to bring these qualities together in a package which is also exciting and powerful.
Oren takes particularly great care in shaping the neck of the guitar, to make the playing experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The result is a guitar that is highly responsive to the player’s touch and a real pleasure to make music with.
Dedicated as Oren Myers is, he personally visits some of the best sawmills in the world to hand select timber for his fine instruments. This meticulous level of detail in Oren’s guitars guarantees the owner of one of his guitars has something that is truly special and unique, having been created by a luthier heavily invested in making their work as spectacular as it can be.
