Mark has gone to great lengths to craft a guitar of immense quality, with careful consideration evident long before the first cut has been made. The choice of Lutz spruce (over more commonly used Sitka spruce) brings not only an alluring ‘ray fleck’ appearance to the soundboard, but also brings a consistency of tone. Honduran rosewood is notoriously difficult to work with (blunting many a plane with reckless abandon!), however Mark has committed to using this tonewood for it’s sonorous acoustic characteristics. Paired together, the result is a clean and balanced guitar with a voice that sings and sustains well in acres of headroom, whilst retaining a full and powerful character.
