Genis Prat guitars are made in Berga, Spain by Angel Genis, Carlos Prat and their small team of experienced guitar makers. The name reflects the current ownership of the workshop, which Angel Genis and Carlos Prat inherited from Antonio Picado around a decade ago. The range is now being moved gradually from the Antonio Picado name to Genis Prat, beginning with the Model 62 and Concierto guitars.Known for their traditional Spanish character, responsive handling and exceptional value for money, Genis Prat guitars offer a compelling blend of warmth, boldness, clarity and lyrical singing trebles. Each instrument is carefully built, naturally responsive and comfortable to play.Previously sold under the Antonio Picado name, these guitars have earned an excellent international reputation for delivering quality beyond their price point.
