An incredible ‘doblo tapa’ guitar with a colourful voice, trebles that sing beautifully. This guitar also feels superbly playable in the hands.
Characterising this guitar is a supremely musical and lyrical voice, combined with excellent tonal separation between strings. This guitar is highly responsive under the fingers which makes for an enjoyable and easy playing experience. A excitably dynamic guitar that gives concert instruments twice it’s value a good run for their money.
This Model 60 DT features a spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides. The neck is made of Honduran cedar with an ebony fingerboard. The woods have been chosen especially for their sonic qualities. One of the defining features is the gorgeous ‘doblo tapa’ Indian Rosewood/Canadian Cedar back. A feature that has sonic benefits too in addition to its aesthetic refinement.
Note that this is not your typical studio guitar, but a guitar made from high grade woods and constructed in Antonio Picado’s small workshop just north of Barcelona in Spain.
Includes a Hiscox Pro II case.

“Just received an Amalio Burguet 2M by mail. Arrived, beautifully packed, in superb condition. After tuning had my first acquaintance with it. Lovely tone which I am sure will improve with playing time. Turned the instrument over in my hands for close inspection. First-rate construction under superb high-gloss finish. Thanks for swift supply & responses via email.”

“Been playing guitar since I was 15 (am now 59), bought my first classical guitar in 1985 and recently decided I needed a better one. After some discussion with Ed at the Classical Guitar Academy about all things guitaristic (Ed is very knowledgeable and always enthusiastic) I tried a few of the guitars Ed had in stock. I knew what I was looking for and Ed understood what I was looking for and I have ended up with a superb Antonio Sanchez guitar. I had also tried a few guitars in a few of the mainstream shops but did not get anything like the help and advice I got from Ed – he understands what it’s all about!”
