Classical Guitar Academy grew from a love of the classical guitar. It is run by Ed Peczek, a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland who has played the instrument since 1995. You can ask for detailed, honest opinions about the guitars we stock, without pressure to make a quick decision.
Privacy
Choosing a guitar can feel very different when you have the room to yourself. Our studio visits are by appointment, so you can play in quiet surroundings, listen closely and compare instruments at your own pace.
That space helps you hear the subtle differences between guitars and judge how each one feels under your hands.
Selection
The studio holds a changing selection of classical guitars, from first instruments and upgrades to concert guitars. Browse current guitars before your visit, then tell us what you would like to compare.

14-day home trial
Qualifying non-bespoke guitars have a 14-day home trial from receipt or collection, whether you buy remotely or at the studio. Take time to hear and feel the instrument in your own playing space. Tell us within the trial period if you decide to return it; you do not need to give a reason.
The Returns policy explains how to notify us, when to send a guitar back, return costs, refunds and the separate rights that apply if there is a problem. We honour any more generous return terms promised for an earlier purchase.
Exchange
If you would like to move to a different guitar, ask us about part exchange. We can assess your instrument and discuss the guitar you have in mind.
Some earlier purchases carried a specific two-year exchange offer. If that applies to your guitar, we will honour the terms agreed when you bought it; please contact us with your purchase details.
Part exchange
We welcome enquiries about pre-owned guitars. If you are considering an upgrade, tell us about the instrument you own and its condition. We can discuss whether a part exchange would suit your next purchase.
Worldwide service
CGA sends guitars to players around the world. Guitar shipments are tracked and insured, and international delivery is quoted for your destination. Import VAT, duty or handling charges may be payable locally. Read the delivery guide or contact us for a quotation before ordering.
