Antonio PicadoModel 49

The spruce-top Picado Model 49 shares its outline and internal design with the Model 53, pairing solid spruce and Indian rosewood in a more simply presented instrument.

Built on the same plantilla and internal design as the best-selling Model 53, the Antonio Picado Model 49 offers outstanding craftsmanship, tone, and playability at a more accessible price point.

Featuring a solid spruce top and solid Indian rosewood sides, paired with a laminated Indian rosewood back, the Model 49 delivers a warm, articulate sound with excellent projection and clarity. Its construction balances tonal richness with structural durability—ideal for advancing players seeking a more versatile and musically voiced instrument that delivers a delightful playing experience way beyond that of which any budget level classical guitar can offer.

Designed with the same ergonomic approach as its higher-end sibling, the Model 49 offers comfortable playability and a refined feel under the fingers. Every detail reflects Picado’s commitment to quality and traditional Spanish guitar-making.

The Model 49 also includes a stylish Italian leather-style hard case for reliable protection and a touch of class.

This secondhand classical guitar has some signs of use, but is structurally sound and comes with a great set up. Also includes a gorgeous leather style Italian hard case for added protection and peace of mind.
