YamahaNCX700

The Yamaha NCX700 combines a spruce-and-mahogany body with electro-nylon versatility, a 650mm scale and 52mm nut, offering a practical option for players who need amplification.

A versatile and reliable Yamaha NCX700 electro-classical guitar, presented in excellent overall playing condition.

The NCX700 is part of Yamaha’s well-regarded electro-nylon range, designed for players who want the feel and response of a classical guitar with the added practicality of onboard amplification. It is a particularly useful instrument for teaching, performing, recording, worship settings, ensemble work, or any situation where a natural nylon-string sound needs to be amplified with minimal fuss.

This example was formerly owned by a professional musician and used periodically over a 12-year period for school teaching and performances where amplification was required. Whilst used, it has been well looked after and remains in excellent overall condition. There are a few cosmetic dings in the finish, some of which have been filled and polished to minimise their appearance. These marks are purely cosmetic and do not affect the playability or amplified performance of the guitar.

Tonally, the NCX700 offers the clear, balanced and dependable character Yamaha instruments are known for, with enough warmth and body for classical playing while remaining practical and controlled when plugged in. It is an ideal choice for players looking for a good-quality electro-classical guitar without stepping into a much higher price bracket. This is a workhorse of a guitar that is highly dependable.

A practical, well-made and stage-ready nylon-string guitar, particularly well suited to the performing teacher, gigging musician, or classical guitarist who needs reliable amplification.
