These two guitars are very closely matched on the surface. Both have cedar tops paired with Indian Rosewood back and sides. They’re both made in Spain. They’re almost identical in price. To play, they also feel very similar in the hands too. There’s really not a lot to choose between them on the surface. So, is there any difference in sound? Are your ears good enough to pick out the differences?
Before we get into guessing the identities of GUITAR A and GUITAR B, which guitar do you like the sound of the best and why? We all have our preferences and there is no right or wrong answer here of course. Blind tests like this level the playing field and help us to make unbiased judgements. Rather than looking at aesthetics, brand name or price, we have to rely solely on our ears. It’s also great fun to see if we can actually tell the difference!
