The Lattice model represents the most forward-looking design offered by Sangirardi e Cavicchi: a lattice-braced concert guitar created to combine power, projection, and tonal refinement. Unlike many modern lattice instruments that chase sheer volume, this guitar has been carefully voiced to deliver a rich, balanced, and musical sound across the entire range.
The design was refined in collaboration with respected UK guitar builder Roy Courtnall Summerfield, resulting in an instrument that embodies both technical innovation and deep respect for tradition.
The top is crafted from premium Swiss spruce, offering clarity and a sweet, lyrical voice, while the ebony back and sides add depth, focus, and striking visual beauty. Together, these woods create a tonal palette that is warm and rounded, yet modern and dynamic—with deeper bass, singing trebles, and remarkable sustain.
What sets this instrument apart is its ability to provide not only volume and projection, but also headroom and expressive nuance. The result is a guitar that empowers the player to move effortlessly from delicate, intimate passages to a commanding resonance capable of captivating a concert audience.
This is an instrument for the guitarist who values modern power but refuses to compromise on the finer, nuanced subtlety for which the classical guitar is most loved.

“Just received an Amalio Burguet 2M by mail. Arrived, beautifully packed, in superb condition. After tuning had my first acquaintance with it. Lovely tone which I am sure will improve with playing time. Turned the instrument over in my hands for close inspection. First-rate construction under superb high-gloss finish. Thanks for swift supply & responses via email.”

“Been playing guitar since I was 15 (am now 59), bought my first classical guitar in 1985 and recently decided I needed a better one. After some discussion with Ed at the Classical Guitar Academy about all things guitaristic (Ed is very knowledgeable and always enthusiastic) I tried a few of the guitars Ed had in stock. I knew what I was looking for and Ed understood what I was looking for and I have ended up with a superb Antonio Sanchez guitar. I had also tried a few guitars in a few of the mainstream shops but did not get anything like the help and advice I got from Ed – he understands what it’s all about!”
