Sam McClaren
A graduate of the highly rated Totnes School of Guitar Making, Sam McClaren has worked alongside inspiring master luthiers Peter Barton and Christopher Dean. They were able to share their vast knowledge and experience with Sam, which proved invaluable in his development into a highly skilled luthier.
Not content with learning from just two masters in Barton and Dean, Sam also completed the Guitar Making course at Newark College in 2012. He was immediately accepted and went on to win the top prize at the end of year show.
In 2015, Sam was the only English maker to be invited to showcase at ‘le Mani Sapienti’ at Castello Sforzesco, Milan.

Ryan Gibson
Traditional Spanish design is at the heart of Ryan’s classical guitars which are based on Torres’ fan strut design. This Spruce/Indian Rosewood model features a 7 strut design with open harmonic bars inspired by Jeffrey R Elliott.
This particular model features a German spruce top paired with Indian Rosewood. The rosette and detailing are made from Scottish cherry, taken from a friend’s garden in Edinburgh and cut/processed by Ryan himself.
Another exquisitely designed and visually striking guitar by Ryan Gibson.
